My great uncles Ray and Frank. I grew up hearing their hunting stories but never got to share deer camp with them.

Fred Bear and Ishi...
1. Fred Bear because I have always admired his adventures.
2. Ishi because I would like to know what it was like to live in the wilderness in the 1800s and 1900s.

I'd LOVE to spend some time sitting around a campfire talking with Uncle Barry, Gene (the Sheppard) Wensel and Roger Rothhaar. I'll buy and grill some nice ribeyes for all three.

Fred Bear......and I'd grill one for him too.

Why ??? Because they have ALL forgotten more than I will probably ever know about hunting white-tail's.

P.S. I set my goals pretty high......huh ???
What if you woke up tomorrow, with only what you thanked God for today ???

Me, 25 years ago. I would take myself longbow hunting. Learn to do it right, from the start.

Me too, I don't get mentioned too much.  I'd like to make it to the big expos, but right now I don't even own a reliable enough car to get out of the county let alone drive to other states.  I can't fit everything on my motorbike or I'd take it.

That's a real bummer. I was looking forward to meeting you at the expo after I heard a rumor of you possibly being there.
Maybe I can get some people rounded up to ring bells at local stores & take up a collection to get you here. (probably wouldn't collect but a tanks worth of gas for your motorbike but hey it's a start LOL)

Hope to meet ya one day...
