Looking for my Zipper SXT
« on: January 15, 2012, 10:32:00 PM »
I know this is a long shot, but by any chance would someone happen to know "whom" might have this bow right now.

It is a Zipper SXT 64" longbow limbs with carbon on the belly, foam cores and tulipwood lams on the backside. Riser is tulipwood and macassar ebony. I'd REALLY like to get this bow back on my rack. It was built for me in early 2010 and I sold it to a "kmunch" here on TradGang. kmunch (Kevin Munchel) lives, or did then in Lawton, Oklahoma. I have his phone number and haven't been able to make contact with him......yet, but will keep trying.

The reason that I am posting here is because I "think" he sold it, right after buying it from me. I'm hoping that I can get in contact with someone that either owns the bow now........or knows who does.

Thanks...........in advance

Like a loving father, Bill knows where all of his children are. Kinda makes ya go a little goopy, don't it?

I am happy for your good fortune in locating the bow, Don. Good luck buying it back!

I've seen Don put some seriously beautiful and great performing bows up for sale and wished I could've been able to get one or two from him. This was one of them!

Thanks EVERYONE.....for the help in locating a bow that I should have NEVER let leave my rack.

Bill......YES.....she will be coming home within the next month or so.

I contacted Bob Stager and will get with him on the phone in the next few days. He was kind enough to offer to sell her back to me and I'm gonna take him up on his offer. We've gotta work out the details on everything but it sure looks like I will have it back where it belongs fairly soon.

I have owned and sold quite a few bows over the past few years and this Zipper SXT is one that I had "second thoughts" about before it ever left my house. Currently, I only own two recurves and need a longbow that I can shoot equally as well as my recurves. THIS ONE.......is the only one that I've owned that I can shoot just as well.

Once again.......I am truly humbled by how remarkable the people on this site are.

Thank-You ALL very much for helping me track down this bow.   :campfire:
