There should be some reviews coming out fairly soon. I have some pics and can post them as soon as I can get my wife to size them for the format.

I was just finishing Kids Pastor bow ( Paul Hollands) the other day and my Grandson came in and said Grandpa, this is the best looking bow that you ever built. Considering what he has seen it certainly says a lot for the Pro Hunter series.
He is comparing them to bows that have run from 1000 to past 2000. dollars.

God bless you and thanks for the interest. Steve

talk about a pretty "base" model.

Some people just don't know how to do "base" work.

She is not only pretty, but pulls so smooth. The bow does not feel like 55lbs at all. I hope to get out tomorrow and shoot her if the weather can stop blowing and raining.

I cannot speak highly enough of Sixby. It was a great experience to get to know Steve, and I look forward to talking with him in the future.

If you are looking for a new bow for 2012, I would give Steve a call. I can attest with my own eyes the beauty of his craftsmanship. When I was over checking my grip last week I got a firsthand look of some of his other bows, and all I can say is unbelievable.

I will post pictures and chronograph numbers once I get her tuned and arrows made for her.

Thanks for listening, Thanks again Steve for a beautiful bow, and God bless,
Paul

Ozzie, I cut my risers with the same base pattern but deviate my shaping . I hand shape each riser and grip. Diminsion wise they are the same so that the bows will shoot the same and have same dynamics. However they will deviate in appearance. Close but not cloned.
Its all hands on here.

God bless you, Steve

I have a Pro hunter and it is a great bow. Smooth shooting, quiet in the hand, stable limbs and accurate too. I couldn't ask anymore of a bow. It is definitely on the no sale, no trade list for me. I need to get some pics of mine on here but its tough with my schedule. You cant go wrong with this bow.

Thanks so much Ryan,

Kirk , thats it bro. One thing I know we hear over and over but in this case its definately the truth. My pictures do not even come close to doing this bow justice. With these grey bark risers and red stripes I have been thinking about nameing these bows the General Lee. When I got the first one together I took one look at it and said Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa The South shall rise again LOL No offense meant to anyone but thats the truth.

God bless you all, Steve

Steve,

She's a beauty..you knocked it "Out of The ball Park" on this one.

I do have a few questions if I may:

1. Is there a choice in riser lengths?
2. How about limb length choices?
3. I'm guessing black glass right?
4. What limb cores? or core choices may be availabe?
5. Is a L/B limb an option, if you want to go that way with this riser?
6. Aprox cost?

I have a charcoal riser's and black glass on a Morrison ILF, Qwyk Styk, and Tall Tines, at present.

These are definately the colors I equate to a Hunting Bow..

IMO, Fancy is nice on the shooting line or at a 3D shoot.  But a nice "basic bow" that I can relax with and don't feel the personal need to be be ultra careful with, sure makes hunting go smoother and less stressful in my case.

I repeat, Nice Job

Gene, Seems like folks are really liking this bow. I have taken quite a few orders on them. This bow as is is listed in my website on the front page. this one has black glass and foam cores. I build this model in black glass only but with a foam core option.

Options. I can offer any option available on the full blown customs . This is my base model called the Pro Hunter.  I do not spend the trememdous amount of time fine sanding , finishing ect that I do on the custom bows so that I can sell this bow at an extremely good price. Build , forms and workmanship is exactly the same though.

riser lengths. I build bows from 56 to 66 inches . every one with different length riser. I stay with same limb length with all carbons but will go with shorter riser longer limb on glass or longer riser shorter limb on glass.

I adjust for draw length with usage of power lams to get max performance at given draw.

LOngbow limbs: I have developed longbow limbs for this riser and they are a moderate d and r which is just a super performance limb. Especially so with foam cores and carbon back and belly. So far it has only been ordered in the top mount but the limb was designed to work either on a top mount riser or a belly mount.  This is a bow that will perform with any bow made and at an affordable price and decent wait time.
God bless you all, Steve
