I have already posted a few times, but thought maybe I should introduce myself.

I am an avid hunter and focus mainly on whitetails. I have killed a good number of deer with a compound, but have always had the urge to shoot traditional. So, I recently picked up a recurve and can't wait to start shooting. Right now good form and shooting is my focus, but as that gets better I want to work my way into more intimate stuff like self bows and making arrows. All these things have peaked my interest for years, I was just waiting to get settled before jumping in.

This seems like a cool place. I look forward to learning here.

This is the best place to learn, make contacts and generally look at bow porn all day. I find myself wanting a new bow or wanting to hunt  anew locale everyday from reading these threads.   :banghead:

I'm new to the site. I've had a longbow for about 7 or 8 years and really just started shooting it. It's a J. Reynolds Thunderstick, 55# @ 27". My draw is 30" and it's too much bow for me, although I'm starting to group well.

I'm very involved in hunting politics here in WA. The other site is frequent is  www.hunting-washington.com.  I'm absolutely a fanatic about hunting, elk especially, and the woods. I'm a forager and my woodsmanship skills are pretty good. Thanks for including me in your forum.
