Acme shafts at Kalamazoo
« on: January 19, 2012, 11:29:00 AM »
After many years I finely cleaned out the arrow shaft bins in the back of my shop. They are Acme Premium Port Orford Cedar's, some of them at least 25 years old or older, many of them have been tapered, 11/32 to 5/16 and 5/16 to 9/32. Many heavy spined shafts also. They were stored in the boxes laying flat so they're still in very good shape.

Paul Jalon of Elite arrows who makes the arrows on my web site has been weighing, spineing and sorting them into dozens. I will have them available at my booth at Kalamazoo this month. Paul will also be there in the booth with some of his finished arrows.

Ron, are the prices from 25 years ago?  :D  I know if Paul is inspecting them we can be sure we are buying some good shafts. Thanks for putting these out at KaZoo. Hope you still have some Saturday!

Dang buddy, I wish my workshop had treasures lying around like that. I had to beg a dozen from our buddy Greg a couple of weeks ago.  Take some syrup, because they're probably going to go like hot cakes.
