So the lesson is don't dip your stick--got it.
Now if I can just get my retriever to find my arrows all will be good.

If your retiever likes to retrieve you can get him to help find lost arrows. My lab has saved me a bunch of money on arrows that have snaked under the grass. He is not retrieving them but will paw at them. My previous lab would also do the same thing. You should try it.
