Killin' time on a day I wish I was hunting
« on: January 21, 2012, 04:22:00 PM »
Well, I really wish I was able to go out this morning for some hunting. There are only a few weeks left for NJ winter bow. So, I figure if I am stuck at home I would try to make use of a pile of misc arrows I have, and also make up some arrows for my daughter. My friend Larry (recurve50lbs) gave me a dozen of the blue 1820's for her. I just need to replace some nocks and fletch 'em up. The random carbons and aluminums I will be making into flu flus for shooting fun.

some supplies

random mess

Flu flu in process

I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Great way to beat 'Cabin Fever'. I've got 3 dozen woodies I'm gearing up to build. I figure that should be enough to get me thru 3 days shooting the Whittingham!

That Flu-Flu is cool, I'm gonna have to do a few of them too.

nice work,I like the fluflus.
An arrow can only be shot by pulling it backward. So when life is dragging you back with difficulties, it means that it's going to launch you into something great.
