Stumpin with Tiger Myrtle Widow
« on: January 22, 2012, 02:50:00 PM »
I thought folks might like to take a look at my newest Black Widow. It's tiger myrtle limbs and zircote/myrtle riser, 60" PCHX. Enjoy the slide show.

Ranger, I really like the PCHX. I have two in identical specs just different wood configuration. They are both 41 lbs at 28" but I draw them to 30" so I'm pulling around 45 lbs. I find the 60" length very smooth and stable. I did very well shooting them at 3d last year even though they are considered a "short bow".

With tha being said I just order a PTFX in a 62" length to dedicate to a target / 3d bow.

Am not a Blackwidow fan but that is a really nice looking one. Especially the limb veneers.
Congrats on fine looking bow!

Nice combo! Ive been thinking about a PL longbow with that same combo for quite some time. I havent pulled the trigger yet.
Its a great contrast and not something you see everyday.

Dig it GM! Very nice bow & exercise in the cool woods. It's 79 degrees here today. That just plain sucks!!

But Forrest, I waited until the sun came up and it warmed up before I headed out. It was a sweltering 17 degrees.   :saywhat:
