10k rpm Grinder for Cutting Carbon - Good to Go?

All you do-it-yourself carbon cutters out there...
I have a hand grinder rated at 10,000 rpms. With a diamond blade and the grinder mounted square I should be good to go with cutting carbon arrows, right?
Also, any good home build ideas for an arrow saw using the hand tool would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Use a ZIP cut blade.
Before the first arrow is cut do a cut on steel to put a smooth edge on the Zip blade.

A key to getting a square cut is being able to rotate the shaft as you cut.I made an inexpensive jig with a Harbor Freight mini chop saw.I mounted it on a board and made an adjustable stop block for repeatable cuts.On the stop block for the nock end I drilled a taper hole in it with a chamfer bit. This keeps the nock end from side to side movement and allows me to rotate the arrow shaft as I cut.I'll bring the blade just into the shaft and then rotate the shaft as I cut. This will give you a square cut. That is how the more expensive saws cut, they only have a small portion of the blade exposed so you have to rotate the arrow shaft as you cut.I have around $30 in my home cut-off saw, works great and have cut many dozen carbon and aluminum arrows for myself and friends.
