Wes Wallace Mentor Pic's

I'm trying to figure out this attaching photo thing again. It's been awhile and I always seem to struggle so I thought I would share these photos of my curves.

You can't stop there, you have to tell us what woods, length, poundage, all the good stuff.  Very pretty collection.

Ok, I will give the 411.

1) 64" 60#@28" Macasser Ebony Riser with myrtlewood accents, Myrtlewood veneer with Bamboo core. This bow is buttery smooth to draw and as quiet as a longbow. It has a heavy feel that that offers a confidence inspiring finish to the shot.

2) 62" 55#@28" Cocobolo/Bacote Riser with footed limbs of the same. Moose antler on back of riser and tips. Hand Engraved limb bolts by me, and a  polished finish to gloss to show the awesome grain in this riser, My indoor and 3-D go to bow.

3) 56" 61#@28" Very Very Beautiful Cocobolo through out the bow, riser and limbs. Riser has Bacote Accent stripe with Moose antler on the back. Limbs are split Cocobolo/Bacote with antler tips as well. This is Wes's new B-Model riser, 15" riser instead of 19". Working limbs of a 60" bow make this bow an absolute rocket launcher. I know my 64" 60# bow sends a 500gr. arrow around 207fps, I've not chronographed this one yet but I have a no doubt this one is way faster as it seems to explode of the shelf. My hunting setup is Carbon Express Heritage 250 with 225gr. up front and total weight about 640gr. Arrow flight is a thing of beauty! Such a deadly weapon! This would be my pick if I could only have one. Does everything I want it to do in a great way.   Added pic's of the limbs  :)

The Original Mentor riser is the Bacote/Cocobolo with gloss, The B-Model riser is the dark Cocobolo with Bacote stripe.

Just got my Mentor in on sat. been too busy shooting  it to take pic's. cocbolo / bacote riser and bacote veeners over boo core.  Shoots like a dream. Wes builds one very fine bow and is great to talk with. I like his bows so much I placed an order for a Royal with matching wood. I'm glad its time for me to drop in bow weight.

Both great shooting recurves from two fine bowyers.

Very beautiful Hatrick!

Sequoia, I started doing the double nock when hunting, helped me keep the arrow on the string when in my treestand. Wind or a bump would have me knocking another arrow after seeing the one hit the ground.
