Big Jim Cocobolo
« on: January 24, 2012, 04:44:00 PM »
A year ago I ordered this bow from Big Jim, it came last fall. I don't change to new bows during the season so I let this sit till a couple of weeks ago. It is really growing on me. Good cast, quite, and it just feels right. Jim made the grip to suit my hand perfectly.

All cocobolo with a zebra accent in the riser. She's as pretty to look at as she is to shoot.

I also have say dealing with Big Jim was pleasure. He is patient and wants to build what you want.

That is a looker for sure. Big Jim is a class act all the way around.
Having done so much, with so little, for so long, I can now do anything with nothing.

That's a good lookin bow! Had my eye on Jim's bows for a while now. Is it a TC or a Buff? Can't quite see the coin. Any pics of it strung?

Very nice, Jason

I don't know how you could let a new bow like that sit for a few months.  Congrats!

It's a Buff. I shot it a little when it arrived but waited till I could really shoot/tune it to get serious. I shot our 3D range with it Sunday afternoon and did well with it.
