i shots some good ones at atar. i shot checkmate, turkeycreek, widow and some others. all fine bows but they didn't shoot any better for me than my tomahawk diamond ss. some of them did shoot just as good, just not better

Oh well, why not.

I like an R/D bow that has a more classic "D" shape when strung. The 2 that always shoot the best FOR ME are:

Harrison HSS
Northern Mist Baraga.

A&H ACS CX is my goto bow, but to fill up the list of I would include, Morrison, Black Widow, Massie, and MOAB.  As bows that I have owned and really liked, in no specific order.

I got a chance to shoot a Treadway thursday at Denton Hill. Mike makes some awesome longbows,and his price is very reasonable.

95% of all the bows above are not available in the Netherlands so I guess I have to vote for my own made R/D bow(s)as I have no comparison.  ;)  
You guys are lucky to have that many bows to select from.
