I was a little bored and decided to make a crester total cost about $10.00. sorry the pics are small I used my phone.
I didnt have any bare shafts so forgive the flu flu feathers...LOL

Very nice, I have thought of doing something like that for some time, never got around to it. Cresting makes a nice looking arrow into a fantastic looking arrow.

It was the simplest thing I made so far. The only bad part is my drill doesnt have a low speed like my cordless did. A zip tie on the trigger helps hold it also.

Real nice! How do you connect the arrow to the drill? I can't tell in the pic. Surgical tubing?

yes,I used a piece of an old alum shaft in the chuck and then the tube.

Worn out slingshot rubber is what I'm going to use. I think some medical supply hours carry it as well

I made mine with a sewing machine motor and put a dimmer switch on it so I could control the speed and it works awsome.

Go to a hardware store and get clear tubing,sold by the foot.
