3 bow KaZoo review
« on: January 28, 2012, 04:36:00 PM »
Had a chance to shot 3 bows today. Due to some shoulder issues I only shot each a few times. I shot the Zipper 1 piece longbow(Zipstick). WOW! Quick, smooth, and quiet and the grip fit s even better than my previous Zippers. Also picked upa 6 pack of Grizzly broadheads from Bill and Tracy. I then shot one of Chuck Deshler's exotic woods TwoTracks longwalker bows. At $500 it is possible the best value out there. Fit and finish is great, and the bow is smooth! Shots extremely nice. Finally, I shot an aluminum riser Predator. The preload on the limbs and the draw weight fit me perfect. I shot this bow well and my form was great. My buddy KHALVERSON said it loked like I might be able to outshoot him with that bow! The Expo Center was great with the improvements to the building. Our drive was 30 minutes longer than ususal because of slick roads and we did not make it for Dr. Ashby's presentation which was the only disappointment for the day. I was able to get an Asbell Silent Stalker Green pullover to go with my Green Stalker Static Limb recurve, but that is another story.

Charlie, I'll bet you would like it! As good as it is, Bill has plans to tweak a couple things on it. I was very impressed with how it shot! Get your hands on one if you can!!!

Yeah, those Pine Hollow bows were beautiful.  I'd love to take his 1:1 class.

Shot the new zipstick and nitro.  Both were what you'd expect from Bill.  Quick and stable.  The nitro was my favorite of the weekend but that zipstick is a great deal.

It seems they will roll those out real soon. I think the riser was around $400 and the limbs I shot had some carbon in them but Ron hasn't decided/tested them enough to be convinced they are an efficient upgrade. The bow shot very well and it is not ILF but still has some weight adjustment. My buddy KHALVERSON has a Predator and was drooling over this one. He DEMANDED that I give it a try. I'm glad I did.

I have always liked the Predator and that metal riser looks really nice, I would like to try one someday myself.

i shot the 47#er
smooth, stable, fast and quiet
the price i was quoted was $425 for the riser
also the riser will accept  any current predator limbs
but with the additional preload will be 3 #s heavier
the bow i shot was 60 in and handled my 30 in draw like a dream
its not offen ya can pick up a bow at a  show and fire your own arrows from it and pile drive em

i was more than impressed with these bows

i just wish ron and mike would become sponsors here
