Metal Riser Predator?

Someone in a thread said they shot a metal riser Predator at K'ZOO. Anyone have any info on this bow?

Only that I shot one.  I was told it was new for the show and just coming on line.  I think I heard they just got it ready in time to make the show.  I liked it based on the one round of four arrows I shot. Worth checking out more.

It looked very nice.  I didn't shoot one but did hold it.  Very stable in the hand with the typical smooth draw of their limbs.  It has the ability to add all the accessories (rests, plungers, sights, stabilizers, etc.) or it can be shot off the shelf just like a wood riser. This riser will fit current Predator limbs and the tiller can be adjusted using set screws allowing a change in draw weight of a couple of pounds.  All in all a very nice addition to the Predator line.  I might pick one up down the road but right now my sights are set on one of their Lobo longbows.

I was impressed with the tolerances of that metal riser.  Considering there was no lateral limb adjustment, each bow they had setup with that riser was dead nuts straight.  The one they had marked 42 was crazy smooth, and the ability to put a plunger right down on the shelf add's a new degree of tuning that most shelf shooters do not get to experience.

It also appears that they really fine tuned the rest hole locations to keep them lower towards the shelf while still being able to use the most populat adhesive backed elevated arrow rests.

I've not seen one yet. But, if it's coming from Ron and Mike, it will be worth looking into.

That metal riser is very nice.  I can't see how you could go wrong with one if you are a predator fan, and don't mind a metal riser.  I loved it. It shoots great with excellent balance and the grip was just right for me. I did not think I would ever get into another metal riser bow of any kind, but this one could change my mind easy.

I talked to Ron on Monday, he has the RH risers in, but my Lefty will be about 6 months at least.  Yes, will fit limbs 1996 or newer limbs & will increase poundage about 4 lbs.

I think this an awesome idea, the fact that it will use limbs from 96 is great. I hope more bowyers follow. I know there are many who prefer wood but there is definetly a fix for metal risers. I have a Morrison Mini Gen 2 riser that I will never let go. If it was made to use Morrison Cheyenne limbs it would be awesome. Great Job by Predator to offer this.

Geez I like the looks of that! I really like the configuration and curve of the limbs and how it all works together.Reminds me of some of the old recurves of yesteryears, the Carrol and ST2000's.

Wow, thanks for the pictures!  This is better than I had hoped for.  I like that Predator has maintained the shape of their classic riser.

I'm getting on that list!

I heard $400, but not sure if that is correct.
