More Kudo's for the Hoyt Buffalo!
« on: January 29, 2012, 10:38:00 AM »
I purchased a 50# Hoyt Buffalo last summer and absolutely fell in love with it. It is like my apple computer--Intuitive   :)
I hunted the majority of the Michigan whitetail season with it and took a nice mature doe. The search then was on for a 45# bow to work out some form issues during the winter. Patience pays off once again and a 60" 45# Buff turned up in the classifieds. I just spent some time getting acquainted with it this morning and broke two nock's off in the first five shots at 17 yards. These bows are truly amazing!
I think I will look for a #55 Hoyt Buff and then the tri-fecta of bows will be complete. If you have even given a little thought about owning a Hoyt Buff, you truly owe it to yourself to shoot one!

I was able to find the entire bow for what the limbs cost  :)  Plus, it's nice to have them both set up to shoot.

A friend of mine started trad last year.  He is shooting one and loves it.

Having been through a few hundred custom bows since 2004, these Buffalo's have really left an impression on me  :)

Well, I took some advice from Kevin, and purchased a used Buffalo. He was right, quick, quiet, and smooth. I was a little skeptical never shooting a metal riser bow before, but after the first shot I forgot about that! Try one you won't be sorry!imo
