All,
Bow showed at about 2:05 PM today...just as I was about to jump in the shower for work. Put it together and just admired it for a couple of minutes...simply awesome! I only had about 7 minutes to look it over. 64” 3-piece longbow…55 @ 29”, going to be a great bow! Still trying to come up with a name for it.
No time to take pictures but the Osage limbs have amazing grain...curly in spots, almost translucent. The riser is brownish-orange Cocobolo with an Osage vertical line. The checkering on the grip is amazing in the hand…first bow I’ve ever had with this feature, love it. Bow just has great balance!
Will make a string for it tonight (I like to see a bow in person before I make a string to match the colors) and take some good photo’s tomorrow.
Sorry for the wait…but I’ve learned a few things about telling a story on this site in the last few years.
Thanks,
Josh
