I just wanted to give a shout out to John Turner at American Leathers (they are a sponsor here) for awesome customer service.
About 6 weeks ago I ordered a Buffalo Big Shot glove after reading several reviews about that product here on the boards. I ordered off the website but also faxed in a tracing of my hand. John called me to talk about my order and said I'd probably be better off with a XL glove based on my tracing as opposed to what I ordered. I got the glove in less than a week of ordering it and was impressed and spent the next couple of weeks shooting the glove and breaking in it. I LOVED it! But it had a problem--the strap was too short and I had to constantly adjust it to keep the stalls straight on my fingers. But I absolutely fell in love with how it shoots and feels.
I called John and talked to him about my problem and asked if he had any workarounds or suggestions. He said, "Yeah, put it in a box and send it back and I'll make you a custom glove with a longer strap!" I told him I had used the original glove a good deal--probably shoot 600-800 arrows with it. He didn't flinch--said don't worry about it. I boxed it up and sent it back. Two weeks later my new glove came and its absolutely perfect. I'm just now getting it broken in and when I am certain its exactly what I want I will order a couple more to squirrel away.
In any case--doing business with these fine folks has been a pleasure and I just thought he deserved some kudos. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with his product.
