Contacting Steve Turay, any large Trad gatherings this weekend?
« on: January 31, 2012, 04:14:00 PM »
So I checked the Trad Events forum and can't find anything but I can't seem to be able to catch Mr. Turay via phone. I had a bow shipped a week ago that was supposed to be here by Saturday and it has still not arrived and I have no tracking info. Starting to get a little nervous that this bow may be MIA or damaged and I was really hoping to have it for a Hog Hunt coming up in less than 2 weeks now.

Steve was at Kalamazoo all weekend. He's probably still catching up.

Thanks Tree Rat. Yes, he was. He told the guy I bought my Croc from that I should already have the bow which is why I am desperately trying to reach him.

Try calling him as soon as you get up. Don't worry if it's 5 AM east coast time, he's liable to be in the shop working. He works some unusual hous.

Steve spent an extra day or two down state with family and will be in the shop later this week. He lives 9 hours north of Kalamazoo,so when he come this far he visits his Mother. I hope all is well with your bow.

Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the help.

Charles I thought it might be something like this as I have never had this much trouble reaching Steve.

John, I have heard that in a couple other threads but I have had other items shipped USPS from further away that arrived in the time I would have expected. Also I might feel better if I had a tracking number.

I know this post might have been marginal to post in PowWow and I honestly only did so because I was REALLY wanting to have the bow for my hunt next weekend.

Thanks everyone!

Steve,

Looking for a longbow for a hog hunt sure seems like a traditional bowhunting topic to me.

I hope it shows up in time to get it dialed in and deadly!  (An 80 pounder? YIKES!!    :scared:   )
