Most of the flex is in the taper...so cutting them will NOT have the same effect as other shafts. It may effect it a little, but not like the norm for sure....that's one reason these shafts are so adaptable to so many variations of bow weights and point weights.
All mine are cut to 29 inches (trad regulars) and they shoot from all of my bows from 58 to 70 pounds with heads weights from 150 to 225.
I have one bow that didn't like the regulars and it loves the lites for what ever reason, and they too are cut 29. I like for all my arrows to be the same length.
Try cutting one and see.....and try some different point weights,...I don't think you are going to cut your way out of business. Do let me know how it works out,....I'm interested in knowing.
