The bow on the right is the first bow BW ever sold with a skin on it.

The one on the left???  Well, the only thing I only have one of is a wife.

Oddly enough, you never see a Samick Sage in the classifieds. When you consider how many are sold and the fact that they are usually bought as a starter bow, you would think you would see them for sale as archers "move up" to a fancier bow.

Don't know if it's been said but you don't see many 21st Century bows for sale.

I have never seen a bow up for sale that Gary Sands built. I love his longbows. He is out of Iowa.

I've noticed that most of the nice and possibly rare bows coming up for sale (like a Dye, Silvertip, Blacktail, and even BW), are usually more than 55#, and often in the 60s.

Often the seller says something about drawing less weight now due to age, injury, or preference.  Do people just generally shoot less weight than they used to say 5-10 years ago?

Seems like the old average was about 55-60, and the new average is about 5# less.

How about one from Rodney Wright ?  He makes some fine bows.  I have one of his Stalkers and would love one of his Firehawks.  Good guy to deal with too.
