Sorry its taken me so long to post here. We are Martin Family Ranch. Ranger Camp Ranches is not the sponsor, but is my brother's ranch, right next door. His website is a good place to see what one could expect when hunting hogs here. It was all one larger ranch until recently when we divided it, and has been in our family for many generations. We are still working on a website, but I wanted to get the word out about hogs and Rio Grande Turkeys before spring was gone.
Martin Family Ranch is a 2800 acre low fenced ranch in the middle of the Texas hill country. We are located in Mason County, and have rolling hills, wildflowers, and live water including creeks and rivers. Our Ranch has a great population of wild hogs, many of trophy size, and has great topography for stalking them. We also have a nice population of Rio Grand Turkeys, which we do not hunt at all in the fall. These turkeys havent been hunted for several years. We have no on site facilities to house hunters at this time, but do allow primitive camping. There are several reasonable motels in town (15 miles away), and an RV park where you cross the river. We allow no Alcohol on the ranch, and are going to limit hog and turkey hunting to tradtional bows (longbows and recurves). Hog hunts are $75/day with a 3 day minimum. Turkey hunts are $500 for 3 days (2 gobblers). We also do not allow ATV's.
Overall, this is a great ranch for both hog and turkey hunting. Please feel free to email me at
