Some New Art
« on: February 05, 2012, 03:26:00 AM »
For some time I've had the idea to try a particular design on some arrows.
I finally got them done.
These arrows represent a place I never went to but quite a few of my friends did.
Those who went will recognize them.

Thanks for your service.

Very nicely done, Grey.  I've played with that cresting myself and my next arrows will have it.  Love the camo crown.  Thanks for the thought.

Those are beautiful... and perfectly timed.  I have been toying with building a cresting set up... and was just toying with OIF/OEF set.... I almost chickened out if OneStringer would have had them already. If the snow ever settles in well I may have to get after it.

Thanks for everyone's comments!
I've never seen this idea used on arrows and I'm surprised, and pleased, to see that it's been done before.
I'll tell you what, that camo was a pain in the rear to paint. I'm not sure if I really captured the iconic tiger stripe camo but it didn't turn out too bad.
