has anyone tried to make a tab for just one finger like when i shoot bare finger 90% of the weight is on my pointer finger so i made a prototype tab for just my pointer finger and now it seems to evenly distribute the weight and im getting much better releases has anyone shot with just like a strip of leather on one finger and the rest of the fingers bare?

Yes, back in the 60s/70s I shot with a tab and my third finger got sore so I took an old Fred Bear glove and taped the two upper fingers back so it just covered my third finger. Then I used the tab over top of that. Worked great.
