Very Nice! Plenty of Longbeards to choose from.

Up North here this mild Winter will help maintain a good flock for the Spring.

Here's a couple of pics taken within the last couple of weeks. One is a flock across the pond from our house. There were about as many in the woods when I took the pic...there  were over 60 birds.

This next pic was take a day or two later out of my wife's home office window.

Two mornings ago the whole flock was under our bedroom window and the toms were doing their thing and woke me up. It's all good.

I don't think the birds around me here in the Yooper are getting to frisky with temps near zero and a couple of feet of snow on the ground. Still I am getting a bit excited for April and hearing those thunder birds in the hardwoods.

Isn't it grand?  The fall/early winter hunting seasons aren't too distant in our memory banks and the toms are struting and gobbling!  It's just around the corner now!!
