cari-bow !!!
« on: February 08, 2012, 10:30:00 AM »
Wow, has anyone seen the bow on the front page of cari-bow's website? I thought I had some real nice looking cari-bows. If Abe wasn't building me one right now, I would buy that one in a heartbeat !!!

Great Bows,  have a Peregine and Silverfox that are outstanding. I have never seen anything like that crazy Mrytle.

Bowman, thanks! I can't wait...

Darren, is the Wolverine smooth? I usually like longer bows, so not sure how the 58" will work out for me...

Looks aren't all Abes bows have. I spent some time at the Caribow booth at Kazoo and was quite impressed. Nuff said!

That bow!   :readit:

Damn a man with scruples!! Abe wouldn't take the bait and stuck to honorable ground. Broke my heart, he did.    :(
I haven't been able to look at a thread, much less post pics since.
Killdeer   :biglaugh:

I shot my new Shrew Scout last night, though. Eased the suffering a whole lot!   :archer2:
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

Kildeer,

The bow was sold before it made it to Kazoo. Abe took it with him for others to appreciate. I'm glad it made it'w way back home with Abe!

You and I have met, although briefly with a nod of acknowledgment at Denton. God willing, I will have the bow at Denton this year so you are more than welcome to shot it and enjoy it.

Not at Denton, I'm afraid. Never been there.
I actually threw my heart at a "married" bow?   :o
I need a beer.

I thought Canadians were supposed to be so polite that a nyah nyah would never occur to them. Then again, they play hockey.

Hey Stickflinger, Just wonder if you "cheat" when you hunt like Abe does.
Killing big bull elk on flat ground just doesn' seem fair.   :nono:

I love the wolverine, Its a smooth and fast bow, thats why i have 3 of them. Abe gave me the first one he ever made, asked me to abuse the crap out of it, and i did. It held up great. The slynx is a sweet bow as well, i have one of those to. Abe saved me some sweet looking mrtyle for my wolverine. I guess the sooner I start mounting his elk, the sooner I will get my bow !!

Killy...I actually am polite, just very childish too! Can't seem to outgrow it!

onewhohasfun....I suppose it would count more as cheating if I actually got something?

Honestly though...Abe and Tina are AWESOME people and Abe doesn't just make bows, he really has a gift when it comes to archery and woodworking.

I shot one of his take down two piece bows at Kalamazoo, it was difficult for me to give it back, very nice couple.
