Yup, I shoot from my living room through the dining room into the kitchen(when the wifes at work)and from the top of the stairs to the basement as well(kinda like being in a tree). Get all the practice you can, even in the cold.

I own a ranch style and have a 20 yd range in the cellar. But this winter, I shoot off the back porch at night with the lights on. During the day, with no snow, can shoot as normal. Last winter the snow was so deep, had to shoot in the driveway.

Tim-I'm still shootin' outside here in Michigan because we have had a relatively mild winter so far! I try to get out everyday and shoot a few arrows to stay in tune. I put a couple of straw bales in black garbage bags and tacked up a deer silouette. Also, I made a form shootin' box target which Mr. Asbell recommends in his book. Have not needed to use it though! It's been nice out so far! Good topic and thanks.

Realy lucky where I live we have a bow shop with a 40 yard range to shoot all year round. Come January he sets up 15 twice around , 3D targets for the wheely boys to shoot 3 days a week in their league and we get our one day .
We pick our own resonable distances and just shoot for the practice no scores.
The place is empty from noon till about four on most the days for the old timers with their sticks

You only need four feet or so between you and a bag target to shoot "form arrows" and it's one of the best and probably least utilized methods of improving accuracy.

I practice almost every day indoors. The owner of the local archery shop is a good friend of mine so I hang out there a lot. When he gets busy I help out. When its slow I shoot (and I can get out to 30yds in the shop too).

In my basement I get 7 yards but if I open the door & go onto my driveway I get 16 yards, I do it more often now because of the temps & no time to go to Gander Mountain to use their indoor range.
Gotta keep those muscles workin.

Living in Alabama the only time i shoot indoors is in the middle of the summer, most humid place on earth. I just can't shoot a bow while soaking wet so i go to my place of business 3 miles away, im in the car business and we have a really big shop.
We can shoot out to 40yds with the air on and boy what a difference. I will sometimes shoot in my garage just for form and to keep up my strength. My teacher told me that shooting 5 yds away with perfect form is better than slinging a bunch of arrows with poor form.
