I was looking for that photo, must be reading my mind.  I will see what the shop can do with it for a screenprint.

That's awesome news Darren! It would be great to have Jason or Craig along as well as Nate.

This is really shaping up well. Bet it becomes an annual event!

I bet you are right Rossco. This will be the beginning of a traditional, traditional hunt. Sorry, just an attempt at some humor.

Maybe for an annual hunt. We could hunt javelinas in Tx with Jeff and Chris, elk in Id with Nate and Rik, and bear in Canada with Ross.

How about a real African Safari, Hill style 2015?

The possiabilities are endless

Darren,

Ya'll better come for a month to acclimate and condition for the miles and altitude, if you are going to hunt with Rik    :scared:    :wavey:     :archer:   It would be a heck of a good time, though!

Darren,  will you be at the state shoot in March?
in the spirit of this hunt/rendezvous, darren has specified "hill style", which means a longbow of any bowyer parentage who's unbraced limbs are either dead straight, or have a bit of tip reflex, or string follow.

it appears the shaft material and quiver type are of yer optional choice.   ;)  [/b]
I am looking at a Sparrrowhawk, would that qualify?

I talked to my wife about this. We are seriously considering it. We both shoot Northern Mist Sheltons. I may even give owner Steve Turay a call and see if he is interested.

awbowman-

The bow should be of a Hill still, being straight limbed, relexed or stringfollow.

I'll let you know. Is there any kind of dead line. We will be making the trip down from Michigan.

Terry-

In your email to me, you said that you own a Hill bow, so you already have the right equipment.
Being this hunt is going to be in your own back yard, I hope to see you there.
