Eric-

On the first page there's a list of all the members that confirmed they are going. Try to carpool with someone. I'm sure the other person would enjoy the company on the road trip. You can use the directory as a search to lookup what state people live in. FYI- You need to have a Hill style bow    :)    :)

You can also post it here on the thread that you're looking to carpool from New York.

OK Gang, here is an update on the Bow List.

So far, 31 bows have been submitted by 20 different members representing 15 different bow makers.

There are 19 RH and 12 LH.

Lets keep them coming.

If there are only 31 bows and 80+ people... there's going to be a lot of people watching instead of hunting!

Get those bows posted!

Troy-

Maybe we need to send pms to the guys that are missing. They may have a few guys that are on the list that either called me or emailed me so we wouldn't have their handle on Tradgang.

Ive thought about PMing folks from the list on the first page but at the same time maybe they just dont want to submit their bows.

Maybe they dont want other folks shooting their bows.

Then again, maybe they just dont know about the list.

A PM wouldn't hurt, just letting them know there is a list if they want to join.

I will get you the bows I am bringing when I get back from my hunt. I will bringing a few Hills. One is the special Hill Big Boar that I mentioned earlier in this thread. Anyone is welcome to use it to hunt hogs. Howard Hill shot it and had John Schulz rework it to his specs for Bob Wesley.

There are a bunch of guys from the Michigan Longbow Association attending this event, you might want to start on thread on the MLA forum to see if one of them has an open seat.

I'm going straight from this hunt to another 3 day hunt in Florida so I can't offer up a seat this time, sorry.

Cody-

It would be awesome if you could come! I would like to see one of John Lee's bows in action.

That would be great if you can talk to Jerry, I've been trying to get in touch with him.

Cody-

I invited your friend Jim Belcher to the hunt, I know several guys shoot the Union Jack, and Jim's been around Hill bows his whole life. Maybe you can ride down with Jim.

How about something like this for the person that successfully harvests the most wild boar with a Hill style bow. In case of a tie, weight, and cutter size would be measured.
