Met Pappy bout 5 years ago when we went to the TN Classic for the first time. Took us under his wing just like he does everyone that comes to Twin Oaks. The whole Twin Oaks crew are just a different breed of cat.... when you meet them you are family from the get go.
Twin Oaks is a special, hallowed piece of ground but even more special are the people of Twin Oaks. Pappy and crew will treat you like no other. Can't wait to get back to that holler and spend time with them again.

Folks like Pappy are way too scarce. The video was great, but doesn't do the man justice--I don't think any video could.
And...calling Miss Joanie his "better half" is the understatement of the century!
