Thinking through all the options for broadheads.
So I pick a broadhead and need a glue-in adapter to screw into my carbons. . . I want a strong system that will not break, but I am not hunting Big African game- just basic North Amer deer species and maybe black bear.
So. . . what do you think is a very adequate-yet strong- system/combo? (I do not need a .300 win mag for javelina!)
1) Insert: brass or alum? (any real difference?)
2) Adapter: Aluminum, steel, (or titanium-but do we really need something that strong and expensive?
)
3) Foot the arrow: aluminum footing? what length?
Hopefully that communicates what I am asking?
What combo have you found best?
Thanks
Dan
