Wilderness Custom Arrow Shop
« on: February 12, 2012, 12:08:00 PM »
A few guys have asked to see where I make arrows. It's not much compared to some shops I've seen. But I feel really blessed to have this space. It was a pump house/garden shed until a carpenter friend knocked out a wall and put overhead lighting, etc.
At least now if I get in "the dog house" it will be more comfortable! haha
The logo on the window in the door is one of Ryan's works..aka Hardcore Archery. Thanks Ryan.

Your pics make it look smaller than it is. Do you still have the big sander in there?

Westbrook, I have found that plain ol' wooden clothes pins work good.

Okie, good to hear from you. The big side sander is in the back part...the part that is suppose to be for the garden tools! haha I think I need to add on again! Since making arrows has taken over most of my time the bow building has been set aside for the time being. Sure wish you were still around here!

Hi Chuck, yep, your jigs are working great. They are on the lazy-susan in the corner. I mounted them on a roll around cart that has drawers in it. I keep most of my feathers in it. I need to build another one for the other dozen jigs. I'll be adding a very rare and specialized piece of machinery soon! I'll post pictures of it when it is built. Very cool!!!!

Nice set up you have, Dave.  Much better than my corner of the basement.

Two questions...
What is the wooden cart with drawers? Is it pre-made or did you make it?
What is your preferred method of communication, phone or email? I would like to talk about selection before ordering. If phone is preferred, what is the best time to call?
You have some really nice arrows.
