From 75# at one time long ago to 65# to 55# @ 29" last year. It shot thru a Moose. Nuff said.
It's really simple. Just don't take those borderline shots. Tomorrow is another day.

60-66# @ 27" most days.  Hunted with a 54# the past two years.  Killed them just as dead but I still prefer the feel of bows in the 60's.

70# Bear Mag. T.D.
72# Shelby 62" L.B.
80# Shelby 66" L.B.
76# Howatt Hunter
75# ML-14 Zebra Wood L.B.

Tried under 70# several times but just can't make my brain do it.  I'm pushing the 55 yr. old mark and know that when I get old I'll probably need to go down to the 60# range.

Depending on the bow I range between 56# to 67#. I honestly enjoy the lighter bows more. My "go to" bow is a PGA Widow at 56#...

Although I own a Hoyt Pro Medalist Hunter bow made the year after I was born (1968) that is 49#, I plan on killing a deer with that bow this year..  Just for the tradition.

I shoot between 40-55. Shooting the heavier bows has built my form on the lighter bows. I enjoy all of them.
