Jake's new Maddog!
« on: February 12, 2012, 08:35:00 PM »
Just wanted to share some photos of Jakes new bow that Mike from Maddog made.  It turned out awesome and Jake was quite excited, as was I!  David Conroy was going to add some bull skins to it but that got put on hold.  Thanks for putting up with all my requests Mike!  The photos aren't the best, but you will get the idea.  54" Kaliska, 43@28".

I think you can tell by the look on his face he is pretty happy with it!

Can somebody let me know if these photos are too large....they look huge!  From what I am seeing they are 640x480 so they should be good right??

I only looked at one image by examining the code, but when I looked at the IMG image, it was 1024 x 768 pixels.

Night Wing, I finally found how to check the size and saw that too.  I have tried the "learn how" thread and even deleted and re-loaded these photos twice trying to get them to upload the "right" size and still no luck.  I have been editing this thread for the last hour and am ready to call it quits.  I cleary am not techy enough to get this down.

OK, unless someone else has some advice, I have "saved" my custom options for uploading photos in photobucket so they are 640x480, deleted my album, re-uploaded three times, used both the IMG code and the direct link options to copy and paste into the img link for this post for the photos, and I am still not getting the first three photos reduced. I am out of options and looking for assistance/ideas??    :banghead:    :banghead:    :banghead:

Worth the wait eh Jake?  Great shot of him opening it. Hopefully I can get healed up soon, but I'm not too sure he'll want to part with it long enough for a skinning job!

Longbow917,

Looks like you've finally got the know how down on how to post a resized photo. Congrats. The photos are great.

BTW, the look on Jake's face when he takes the bow out of the bowsock is........priceless.

Dave~  Jake has assured me as soon as you let us know your feeling better, the bow is getting shipped out!  He is really pumped about getting it skinned!  Yeah, that photo of him opening was AWESOME....worth the wait.  Night Wing, not sure if I got it right or someone else resized them for me?!?  I was at it for quite some time last night and sent a PM to Rob S. Either I got it right or he felt pitty on me:)
