1st kill before she was one year old.

i was out practicing this afternoon while my 11month old daughter watched on. i thought why not go for a little hunt. we walked about 100m from the house and the hunt was on. 1st rabbit was sighted and a carefull stalk ensued, well not really. but i missed at just over 10 yards. bugger! it took a trek to the backcountry to locate more rabbits. 200m from the house we were again stalking a rabbit. at 15 yards i have a shot but just narrowly miss. it props up at at about 15 yards again and this time i hit it in the base of the ears, stunning the beast enough to run in and get a finishing shot.
then we packed the meat back home. what an adventure, hey Lydia.

What a fabulous post. Your a lucky guy and I'm not referring to the rabbit. Hope that young lady always enjoys going out-back with her dad. They grow up fast so take advantage of your opportunities to share the outdoors with her.
