Trad friendly pop up blinds?

What blinds are longbow and/or recurve friendly?

I have a DoubleBull recurve model that works great! Room to stand and easy to shoot from with recurve or longbow. I have used 60" recurve and 58" Tomahawk longbow.  :wavey:    :campfire:

What about that leafy panel-like blind 3 rivers sells?  Seems like I could do some damage with that.

This is a perfect topic, as I am planning on buying a pop-up blind this year. With regard to each of the blinds posted above, do you feel like there is enough room to share the blind with a 10 year old?

I'm still using a standard size Double Bull.  Have shot longbows up to 64 inches out of it, but 60 inches or less works better.  If mine ever wears out, I'll get a recurve model, which is 6 inches taller. If you're careful how you set up, can shoot a pretty long bow out of them. And, of course, they're quite sturdy, physically light weight and set up in a flash.

While sitting in my huntmore, I had a downy woodpecker land on me and peck on my arm while wearing my wife's Gillie poncho. I like portable things. i also prefer the good ole cheap all natural blind with a pop out camo thing I got from Poor fish outdoors, to make them a little more opaque. It allows me to have more places to go with the same equipment.

The DB archer is big.  I can shoot nearly anything out of it.  Plus, I can take a nap safely.  Don't use it very often cause I prefer a bit of mobility,  but they sure are comfy.

I have the matrix and the primos predator den. I have shot a 60" longbow out of both with no problems. The primos is much cheaper than the matrix and has some great shooting hole options.

Since I shoot my two 66" recurves, the Ameristep Penthouse pop up blind works for me.

It's 78" x 90".

I can't think of the exact name of my blind but it is made by eastman. I can shoot a 62" longbow out of it fine.

Look at the hidden hunter blind.  Great blind and you can easily shoot any longbow or recurve out of it.

I have a owned a bunch of the Double Bull recurve and standard height blinds over the years. Done alot of filmimg with 2 guys in the blind.

I shot a bunch of stuff out of the regular height blind with a 62" recurve...but I also hit a limb now and then (never goes well).  Even with the taller one you have to be aware of your position, but not as critical.

Another      for the Ameristep Penthouse.  90" tall, not a hub blind, but can set it up in about 10 minutes once you've done it a time or two.  Good window options, and black interior liner.  If you have kids, there's plenty of room inside for two of you.
Good luck!

The Barronett 350 is perfect for longbows or recurves, very roomy and very easy to set up.
