;)   Looking forward to the new grind. I'm getting the New Zipper Grizzlys really sharp already! Should be even better with the 160 Kodiaks! Thanks Bill.

I was pretty happy with the grind on the last batch. If Ron says they are better then there is no doubt they are even better. This is a perfect example of why Ron is grinding our broadheads.Ron has it going on!

just ordered my first package of 200gr Grizzly Kodiaks this week...  Always said I would shoot Grizzly's if my Ribbies and Snuffers ever went away.

Got a new shipment of Ribbies from Oz last year...and have 4 Snuffers from the Muzzy era left and one from Rothaar era.

I have the 160/190 ribbies...and 160 snuffer so decided to give the big 200gr Grizzly a run this time.

I am expecting good things.....and at their price for 6 heads..if they are anywhere as good as I expect will be the deal of the century in the single bevel market.    :clapper:

Does anyone here shoot the 140s? I am shooting 175 grains on my carbons and the 140 gr. Grizzly with a full-length insert would match them perfectly.
Any thoughts?

Newbie here, what's the difference in the Grizzly and the Kodiak and how much do these heads cost.  I think I want some, but I don't want to spend huge $$ just for whitetails.

Eagle the 140 grain Grizzly heads are at the brazers now. They use the same thickness steel as the 160 grain Grizzly Kodiak.

Bowman The Grizzly Kodiak is the big brother to the regular Grizzly. The Kodiak version is 3 1/8" long X 1 3/16 wide. The regular Grizzly is 2 3/4" X 1 1/8".
Kodiak's are $34.95 per 6 pack
Grizzly's are $32.95 per 6 pack

OK folks, We have a little news about the 160 Kodiak's.Ron has been grinding them and they are 170 grains. I keep calling them 160's out of habit.Since the steel goes all the way across both edges now they are 170 grains.
Ron is grinding the right bevel heads now.As soon as he gets the right bevel heads completed he will send them to us.Then we can get them packaged and out to you while he grinds the left bevel.

Bill,
Would it be best for me to put in a pre-order for the 140's and then pick them up in Baltimore?  Or, should I just wait and purchase them there?  Want to do what's best for you. (And still be sure that I get a pack of them.  :)  )

The old El Grandes were also 170 not 160, at least the 6 I bought from 3R two years ago were.  Made no difference to me as with a 75 gr adapter they were real close to my 250 gr. target points.  Looking forward to the new ones.

Ooooh, good omen.  I weight 170 lbs and my BHs will be 170.  So the buck I shoot this fall should score 170.  ;)
