Postman rang twice

Well, okay, technically only once, but he did have two long tubes with him. Today my Holm-Made Osprey and River Runner arrived and I thought I'd share a few pics. The pictures really don't do the bows justice. They are beautiful - true works of art. I just realized that I didn't capture any pictures of the yew used on the Osprey limbs, but man they are gorgeous. The River Runner sports red elm limbs and they look real nice as well.
Both bows are incredibly smooth drawing and feel much lighter than their actual draw weight. And, the performance is there too. Fast, dead in the hand, and shoot right where you look.
Many thanks to Chad for all of his time and effort spent on these. I think may wife is going to be jealous when I don't leave the basement tonight!

Thanks for all the compliments guys.
The Osprey is kingwood riser and yew veneers. She's 44# @ 29, but I swear it draws so smooth it feels like high 30's up until the arrow is set free - it zips pretty good. I really like what Chad did with the grip matching it to the recurve. It's nice to be able to switch back and forth and have a familiar feel in the hand.
The River Runner is Bacote w/Purpleheart stripe and red elm veneers - 48# @ 29. The bow is very fast, very stable, and very quiet.
After spending a night with them, I can tell you that they are both shooters. I got them tuned up for aluminum and surewoods pretty easily. Now I just need to wait for another couple dozen surewoods I ordered from Braveheart.
