USPS Stalker?
« on: February 20, 2012, 04:26:00 PM »
OK here is my situation...

Maddog created a pink & charcoal custom recurve for me. Mike & I exchanged emails yesterday & he said he would be shipping it out today. For SOME CRAZY reason I have been hearing doorbells & knocks on the door. I've also been seeing more UPS, FedEX & USPS trucks than I've ever seen. I know the bow isn't going to arrive today or even tomorrow but for some reason my mind is playing tricks on me... Is this normal when a bow is being shipped?    :archer:

haha yeah...just be careful because sometimes that "rush" of a new bow coming becomes addictive...

Your done! No therapy can help you now. Pace yourself you may have to order arrows to.

Oh G thanks Ulysseys - You're of no help  ;)  I think I'm in need of a cold rag & a heating pad LOL

I've never experienced anything like this. I've anticipated people flying in from out of state that I haven't seen in years, Christmas gifts that I have wanted for years but NEVER have I witnessed a "rush" like this.

I'm the same way even if it's an old bow that has seen better days...  :archer2:

A couple years ago I was expecting a special bow, so I stayed home all day waiting for my mail man.  When I saw he wasn't stopping, I caught up with him and had him double check his packages.  :knothead:

After a near sleepless night, the bow came the next day.

Just take a long walk and drink a glass of milk before bed.   :goldtooth:

Just pray your bow doesn't have to go through the Atlanta, GA hub. It seems bows just dissappear when they get to GA.

I have no idea what all you people are talking about. I always sit quietly balancing the checkbook or reading the newspaper until I'm startled by the mail carrier ringing the door bell and realize my bow has shown up already.   :D

I am not one to give advice about waiting for a bow to arrive.

The wait seems to be taking a toll on me as well.

The wait is only getting more intense by the minute

And to add insult to injury the boyfriend tells me he wants me to WAIT till he gets home from work to open it up when it does come. Did anyone hear that??? He said to WAIT!!!!

That's why we keep them as boyfriends. So we can see how they handle certain situations.

This doesn't look good when it becomes time to decide whether to keep him or not.    "[dntthnk]"
My husband knows better. Matter of fact, it was two weeks before I showed him the bows I bought in Kalamazoo!
