I'll show some sugar for the Montana. Made me love longbows. Very underrated and over looked bow. Nothing fancy, but completely solid and reliable.

Cool Post!!  I love the vintage Bears.  I've had a '54 Kodiak II(never shot it though) 2'66 Kodiaks,a'58 grizzly a'93 TD Hunter and I now have a '67 Kodiak Hunter.  They all shot great.  I gotta say though, that the smoothest Bear that I ever shot was Bowdoc's '72(?) Take down.

Love my Kmag but I have a 1966 Kodiak and it is a sweet shooting bow.  Just ordered a new Super Kodiak should be here soon!

Of the three that I have owned, '72 Super Kodiak, 70something Grizzly, and a '69 Kodiak Hunter, I'll have to go with the Hunter. A fine shooting bow.

I just joined the Bear owners association.  I bought a 45# '61 mag.  It shoots great!  It is fun shooting a bow as old as I am.
The season gave him perfect mornings, hunter's moons and fields of freedom found only by walking them with a predator's stride.

without a doubt it's my 1960 Kodiak 60" 52#.  The 1960 Northwoods quiver is another of my favorites.
