AD Trad nock inserts - what glue?
« on: February 22, 2012, 10:06:00 AM »
Got some AD trads and was wondering what is the best glue to use to glue the nock insert into the shaft.

Thanks

Eric

I used a slow cure 2-part 24 hr epoxy to glue my nock bushings and inserts in my AD's.But clean and prep it before,I rough up the inside if the shaft and clean everything with alcohol.Haven't had a single problem.

I used JB Weld 6 hr cure...no problems. Used them for my brass inserts also.
"Neal...is this heaven?" "No Piute but we are dam close". Top of the Mtn in Medicine Bow Nat Forest.
