I used Rit on an Asbell vest and it turned out pretty good! The Green I used was called Pine but it  was pretty dark!

Usually dying garments involves hot water so I'd be careful with your KOM.

Before you go wrecking it. Do yourself a huge favor. Put it on a hanger and walk out into the woods and hang it on a branch, behind brush in front of it, doesn't really matter, what you will see is whats called the "grey phenomenon."  Walk about 60yds away and have some good cover all around and in front of you. Color at distance matters very little, what does matter is contrast, and silhouette. You will notice that the "outline" of the garment has very little contrast against most backgrounds. Wool will absorb light, not reflect it.
Or in other words.
