Let me start where the title came about...it was generated by a series of events....

I have taken Rob DiStefano hog hunting in South Carolina THREE times.

Rob has killed THREE hogs in those three trips.

On trip number THREE Rob gave me a gift....

Doug Campbell was in the camper with me when Rob entered with a bow sock containing of course a bow...

I saw what he had in hand and I said, "let me get out of your way"....Rob said "for what"?...I said, so you can put your bow together and Rob said, "This isn't my bow"...I said, what? You brought a fly rod?....and then Rob started speaking and I knew what was coming....I began to utter 'no no no Rob'...but Rob just continued...more into the speech I said 'No Rob, you can't do this'...and from in the corner from Doug Campbell in a low tone comes "Terry, just shut up"....so I figured it was best if I did....and when Rob wrapped up what he wanted to say, he handed me the bow sock.....

Now, if that wasn't enough, and as I was trying to soak it all in,....a few minutes later Rob hit me again......

He then presented me with a matching Doug Campbell knife made with the left over wood from the bow.

I was now rendered speechless.  But that's Best Friends for ya.     :campfire:

Now there were THREE best friends in camp that weekend, and now there were THREE more in camp this weekend.  And, this was trip number THREE to this property without Rob.

I'd taken some other folks a couple of times and showed them around and tried to get pigs for a couple of them....this time I was actually there to hunt for myself.  And I was really looking forward to it let me tell ya.
