After an early lunch we hit it again immediately, now that it was light, we could look for fresh sign and get a better idea of what was going on.
In doing so, we stayed out for another 3 quiet hours searching for sign and hogs, we returned to camp for an hour break before heading out for the rest of the afternoon at about 3:30.
Curt wanted to sit the Skylight again which was down in the Savannah river bottom, and Doug was so mesmerized by that bottom, he decided to hunt 'The Race Track' stand. The stand got its name from a group of nearly a dozen piglets came racing from afar to get to the feeder at this stand. They hit a curve in the road and slung dirt as they got broadside making their final approach. Michael Langahans deemed the stand the name and told us about it Saturday night during his visit.
I would take the 'Sunset Stand' the last hour and a half after patrolling the road again. You haven't experienced this property till you've had an experience at Sunset. I had had such an experience on one of my earlier hunts with Rob, but chose not to shoot and bugger up the area so Rob could hunt it the next evening.
