Irv's Florida hog
« on: February 07, 2012, 10:52:00 PM »
Good friend Irv Eichorst took a nice eater sized sow at our Florida lease. Spot and stalk in an orange grove, twenty yard shot, perfect hit, hog ran 25 yards and fell over. RER bow, GT arrows, Simmons head.Well done buddy!

Hah! And he told me he wasn't good enough yet with his longbow to shoot a hog with it       I told him he could do it. Tell him Congrat's for me.

Kevin,
Irv's too modest, I swear he has ice water in his veins. He's a great shot, even on game.
This should really boost his confidence.
He and I were hunting the same spot the day before and he passed on several iffy shots at dark. It paid off for him.

:clapper:    And by the red on that arrow looks like it was a pass through or darn near close!

great shot. I just posted on Powwow about how this gentleman didnt think a recurve had enough energy to put a quick clean kill on a hog....some people...

Excellent
For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.
