I've been kicking around the idea of picking up a new longbow for about a year now, and took every opportunity to try every longbow I could possibly get my hands on, and I have had a friend's Tall Tines longbow in my possesion for a few weeks now (maybe he will forget I have it, and I will end up with 2            

  Brian has some "Funtional Pieces of Art" (bows) in stock, but I have always wanted a bow made for me, and to me.  So why not take this opportunity and get exactly what I want?  

  Now I just need to find something to take up my time until it gets here.  Maybe I will try my hand at 4 point footing arrows.

Mike I'm sure will not have a problem creating another handcrafted masterpiece. I think you need to build a decorative carrying case for the new bow. like a nice wooden case with brass piano hinged, and brass latches.

I actually have a different idea on a travel case for this bow, but your just gonna have to wait and see it Tim.  It will be very similar to my traveling arrow case I made, if you have ever seen that.

Mike, my guess is that Steve Osminski character led you astray to part with your money        Shot one of Brians longbows in Kalamazoo in 2011 and would have brought it home but the wood combination just wasn't for me. It was nice as I was walking away from the shooting line, having drilled everything I was looking at with it, to have strangers that were in line behind me tell me "you belong with that bow". There's one in my future, just have to admit it to myself and make it happen. Congratulations, I know the feeling.

I have one coming Wednesday from Brian a 64" 55@ 29 1/2 with a Bacote riser with a lower grip with a little palm swell and camo limbs....can't wait heading to texas to shoot a bison with it.
Gene Carrol is going to help me figure out with the picture thing and when I do will post some pics of her.

Forgot to mention all of that Ryan.  I have wanted an all ebony bow for quite a while now, and this is my chance to get one.  All Macassar Ebony riser and limbs.  64" 50# @ 28"

3-4 months last I heard.  He does everything possible NOT to have a long wait for the customer.

Good call on the wood. I've wanted an ebony riser bocote limb bow for quite some time. Some ebony footed arrows would look real sharp

I never asked.  After shooting Steve's I came to the realization it is worth the wait, however long that may be.

Anytime Eric.  I'm putting on a leather grip when I get it with plans of sending it back after I hunt it a little while to get checkered.
