Stolen Bow
« on: February 27, 2012, 10:32:00 PM »
I have been away from the forum for a while, it seems it has taken a thief to bring me back.
I came home around 5:30 tonight to eat dinner and then go to the trad league tonight, I walked right past my bow on my way in the house hanging in the garage. I figured that I would only be a little while so I left the garage door open. I went to leave at 6:15 and my bow and quiver were gone! Hard to belive but thats the only thing they took, and it was hanging right next to the door to go into the house. Best I can figure is it was some kids walking by because you really can't see where it was hanging from the street. I call the cops and filed a report, I will be watching the pawn shops and craigslist to see if it comes up. She's a JK Traditions Kanati 56" 55#@26", I'll post some pictures of her later if you wouldn't mind keeping your eyes open. I live in colorado springs. Thanks for letting me vent a little, I think I am still in shock, the full rage has not hit yet.

I feel for you!

There has to be a hot coal burning in your gut about now and a sense of being violated.

I am truly sorry that you're having to go through this.

I hope it turns up and soon.

God bless,Mudd

If some kid took it to play with it, the good news is at at 55#@26, they're not going to enjoy it for long. That's a bow for someone who shoots trad.
Check **** and your area Craigslist for it.
Set up a Google alert for "Kanati longbow 55#@26"

Sorry to hear about the theft of your bow and homemade quiver. You may get it back if you watch the pawn shops, ####, etc. Don't give up. It does burn in your gut. Can't forget it.

Put an add in the paper "Wanted" traditional bows of any type, design etc etc and let the thief call you! Leave only a phone number in case the thief knows your name but not your number. Long shot but it can and has happened.

Hey!!!! those kids could live some where near by. You should think about putting fliers in you neighbor mail boxes and hope for the best!!!
