The Zipstick arrived in today's mail. I will shoot it this weekend and give a report.

Gents,

I got the Zipstick.

1) Craftsmanship: everything you would expect from Zipper. A+

2) Grip: Gotta love the way they set the angle of the grip and the finger grooves seem to always fit any hand. A+

3) Speed/Cast: I used the heavy arrows I use on my heavy bows. This bow did a very nice job of flinging an arrow at 14 GPP. A+

4) Quiet: Yep, whisper quiet. A+

5) Looks: Well, you know Zipper. Life is too short to shoot an ugly bow! This one is really nice. A-

6) Accuracy: Well, here are the very first 3 arrows I shot for 17 yards. A++

As a Hill Style Longbow Guy, the Zipstick is the real deal in a R/D med wrist grip set up. Color me impressed.

I will take this to a 3 D shoot in the AM and let my buddies give it a whirl. I will get some YouTube video shots and post.

I am next in line and will put a post up when she arrives followed by a report when I send her off. Man I'm excited. I think it might be an expensive tryer outer if it is as great as everyone has said so far.

Knowing that you are a Hill style guy I was not sure how you would like this bow, Matt. I'm glad it worked so well for you. Thanks for taking it for a spin.

Hey guys I got the bow today, apartment was closed yesterday so it took me a few days to get her. Man is she pretty though, beautiful bow. I haven't had a chance to run any arrows threw her yet but will tomorrow. Will report back tomorrow.

Alright guys I only got to run about ten arrows through it the other day, my dog ran into something that cut his leg open pretty good so I had to come home and clean it up. I will send a pm to the next person in line and get it shipped out to them tomorrow or tuesday by the latest. What little I did get to shoot I really liked it. I just about found the right knocking point and was going to try  few different weight points to really get the arrows flying good. She is really pretty and smooth, awesome bow.

I put the zipstick in the mail this morning.  Hard to part with it, truly.  Xia_emperor Pm'd me and has to pass on reviewing the bow, so she is headed south to LimBender.  Enjoy!

She is a great shooter.  Extremely quiet and accurate.  The grip is identical to my SXT and Zipper Extreme recurves and I could easily move back and forth between the two.  I would describe the zipstick feeling like a hybrid recurve/longbow.  Great grip, smooth shots with no handshock, and scary quiet.  Bill has a winner here for sure.

the Bow arrived , got it well packed , is in like new condition, only wear on it is on the shelf rug and on the string serving,...will start shooting in the afternoon, pics to follow and maybe a short vid,
first impressions: its a impressive blend of high-tech materials and craftsmanship with traditional curves and engineering...because the measurements on it are perfect -to perfect

What spine arrow did you end up shooting out of the prototype? How about brace height? It looks a little low.
Did your assistant like the prototype?   :D
