Thank you for your kind words Mr. Fry.  Also to anyone that is trying to decide to do the class or not let me just say do it.

Rod took my shooting style [if that is what you called it] and turned it into something that worked.  So much so that the next hunting season I managed to accomplish a dream 1 elk and 1 whitetail with my bow.

Looking forward to learning more at this next class.

I just went through the clinic this week--well worth the time and money.

Rod doesn't promise any kind of mystique or magic potions--he gives you the tools to get the job done, and it's up to you to use them.  It's really amazing what an old redneck from AL can teach you about the simple act of shooting a bow...and he keeps it simple enough for anyone to follow.

Well said LBR , Yes you actually have to apply and practice the techniques that Rod teaches, you sure as heck wont get to be a better shot by talking about it, you will have to apply and use the tools that he teaches.

Is there a recommendation for bow type for one of his classes? Or shoot what you brung? Recommendations for equipment would be helpful. What little I know of Rod comes from the "masters of the barebow" series. thanks

If you have a light draw weight bow, bring it....if not I'll have several with me. Learning back tension may cause a degree of soreness, if a shooter is not accustomed to truly using his back and a lighter bow helps ease the transition  :)

Tricia and I missed the last one due to a family issue.  We will be there this time.  We are looking forward to meeting Rod.

I attended one of Rod's clinics last year in Texas. It was worth every penny and I am now shooting better than I have in a long time!

Only about four spots left. Dont wait to long as this is going to be a blast, learning from one of the best for two days and with a great group. Not to mention we usually have a potluck barBQ at Raptor Archery on Saturday eve.

I got as question..... Will the Steelhead be running???  Ted took me Steelhead fishing a couple years ago while at Hood River and my mouth waters everytime I think about grilled Steelhead  :)

Looking forward to being back in OR and meeting and working with everyone!

I sure hope they are running Rod, my wife just told me its time to get to it as all we have is Salmon, she kinda mentioned its time for me to start fishing again as she likes the Steelhead, pretty nice that my wife gets after me to go hunting and fishing, gotta love those Alaskan women!
You are going to have to leave your cell phone at the house when we go so you can concentrate on the fishing.
I will sign you up as soon as you call Dusty.
