Thank You All Very Much. You are all brothers to me and your generosity is greatly appreciated. Yes Mom loved the idea of me hunting and she was very fond of venison stew. I know I'll miss her stew very much as well.

She used to tell me stories when she was a young girl on a small island in Greece during WW2. The Germans had taken over the island and limited the food to the people. My uncle was forced to take a small boat and cross a channel to get to an remote uninhibited island, more like a large rocky island and he would hunt goats to feed the family. And he had to do this at night. That's where my Mom learned to butcher animals and develop that appreciation for hunting.
Even when she started to have health problems the last few years, and I dedicated as much of my time as possible to help her, she would always ask me when was deer season and if I was going. When I'd tell her I was too busy to go, she'd always say, just go and have fun.
